Pinpoint Adventure - Privacy policy

DofE Assessor Reports:

For the purposes of DofE Qualifying Expeditions (assessed expeditions) we are required to submit assessor reports the DofE. For this, we require the participants name and their eDofE number to submit the report - the participants name and eDofE number are only used for this purpose.

Participant Information Forms:

The information contained in the Participant Information Forms will be kept totally confidential and secure and will only be disclosed if necessary to the emergency services. Pinpoint Adventure will retain the information contained in the Individual Participant Form securely for 5 years (in all cases) from the date of the event, save and except in the event of an accident or incident involving children, where the form will be retained securely until the child’s 21st birthday, after which it is destroyed securely. This is in accordance with the licence Pinpoint Adventure hold with the Adventure Activity Licensing Authority.

What information we need to collect from you:

  • Your name and home address.
  • Emergency contacts.
  • Medical information - including allergies, and any medication taken.
  • Consent for you to participate in your chosen activity.

This information is used to help prevent incidents and in the event of an emergency helps to ensure that you receive the correct care.
