Pinpoint Adventure | Climbing

What is it?
Climbing or rock climbing is the sport of ascending either a climbing wall or rock face (crag or cliff) typically using your hands and feet to help you get to the top. It is an incredibly fun activity requiring strength, determination and bravery; rewarding you with a great sense of achievement of getting to the top of the climb.

Who can do it?
Pinpoint Adventure has a minimum age of 5 years old on its climbing sessions, otherwise so long as you are physically fit and healthy you will be able to go climbing.

Where can I do this?
Climbing can be sub-divided in to indoor climbing walls (purpose built climbing structures) and outdoor rock faces (crags or cliffs). Pinpoint Adventure primarily uses indoor climbing walls in the Newcastle-Upon-Tyne area and outdoor venues typically in Northumberland and North Yorkshire. However, there are climbing walls and outdoor venues right throughout Britain so if you have a specific location in mind get in touch and we’ll see what we can do for you.

When can I do this?
Climbing sessions can occur all year round. Although outdoor climbing sessions are most often saved for the warmer and drier months (April – October) with indoor climbing sessions occurring at any time of the year.

Why book with Pinpoint Adventure?
Pinpoint Adventure only uses qualified and experienced instructors with a maximum ratio of 1:6 (1 instructor to 6 clients). We also use top of the range equipment ensuring you have the best time possible.

What do I need to bring?
